Christmas wreath with olive branches and mandarines

SAMSUNG CSCAs the olive harvesting season comes to an end the groves are filled with the cut off olive branches which are one of the best wreath materials as their leaves dry well and stay preserved for years. It is also a high season for oranges, mandarines and lemons. If you are a fan of wreaths made of natural materials you might like a wreath I have improvised with the materials at hand.SAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC

You need a ready made vine wreath, a cutter, a wire, threadSAMSUNG CSC…and olive branches, daphne leaves, citrus fruits and bellsSAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC(…Oops the props are disappearing…)

You cut small olive branches with the plant cutter and tuck them into the base vine wreath, then you tighten them with thread, pass the wire through the fruits and tie them to the wreath by twisting the 2 ends of the wire at the back of the wreathSAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC…add other leaves…it could such as lavender or cypress…tie the bells at the end.

It is a very simple wreath which can be made in 30 minutes….SAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC
